I had several cases against Ann Oldfather when I practiced law in Kentucky. Though she was a pain in the --- as an opponent, I developed a grudging respect for her. She is one of those rare birds who no only is a fine trial attorney, she is incredibly smart and can write a very fine brief. This combination is rare in my view.
